During the summer of 2010 I spent 2 months volunteering in Moshi, Tanzania. In the mornings I taught at Kilimahewa Informal School, and in the afternoon I worked on various projects, including presenting lectures on HIV awareness in the community. What began as a need to ‘get away from my career for a bit and help others’ has turned into a passion and a dedicated commitment to working for the Tanzanian people as much as possible. Please feel free to browse my blog written during this time:

I will be posting about projects and organizations that I am personally involved with, or that I have verified are legitimate, transparent and conducive to productive humanitarian efforts. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like more information, or would like to help in any way!
                                                                UPDATES COMING SOON!!!
